As the summer ends and school starts up again, we can’t help but reflect on the best back-to-school memory: new school supplies. Who didn’t love getting a brand new set of pencils, paints, paper - everything fresh and shiny and crisp.
Professional artists love their materials too - but they don’t stay shiny for very long. Whether they use store-bought materials or make their own, an artist’s toolkit is, shall we say, much loved.
We were able to talk to Bruno and Caros in their studios, where they showed us some of their tools and talked about the process of making paints.
In honor of the new school year and new school supplies we thought we’d share some videos of Bruno and Carlos in their studios - Carlos shows us his favorite tools, and Bruno talks about the process of making paint.
